Collection: Featured Collection - Coffee from Costa Rica

Currently we have two special coffees from Costa Rica:

- H-1, White Honey Process

-SL28 Kenya, White Honey Process


White honey coffees tend to be mechanically washed, leaving minimal mucilage around the bean. 

 

Centroamericano H1 is a cross between Sarchimor T5296 and a Rume Sudan. It is lauded for being rust resistant and almost 30% more productive than Caturra or Catuai but with all their prized flavor notes.

 

SL28 is usually grown in East Africa (Kenya specifically), this variety yields large amounts of naturally occurring phosphoric acid. This comes across as a tactile feel rather than a flavor.
